Cotswold Oak submits joint planning application with Stratford-upon-Avon Rugby Club

Cotswold Oak is delighted to confirm the submission of a planning application to Stratford-on-Avon District Council for the delivery of 23 new homes alongside a brand-new clubhouse and facilities for Stratford-upon-Avon Rugby Club.

The application has been developed in close collaboration with the Club, the Council and the local community to ensure it brings lasting benefits both to players and supporters of the Rugby Club and to the wider area.

At the heart of the proposals is a modern new clubhouse to replace the existing building, which is no longer fit for purpose. The new facilities will provide a bar, function room, gym and dedicated men’s and women’s changing rooms, all designed to meet the latest RFU guidance and to support the Club’s continued growth and success.

Alongside the new clubhouse, the proposals include improvements to the pitches and the provision of on-site car parking, helping to ease existing pressures on surrounding roads such as Loxley Road. The delivery of these much-needed facilities is only possible through a partnership approach. By reinvesting the proceeds from the 23 new homes, Cotswold Oak is proud to play its part in creating a sustainable future for Stratford-upon-Avon Rugby Club. With a strong track record of building high-quality, thoughtfully designed homes across the region.

Details of the planning application can be viewed on the Council’s website using reference 25/02167/FUL.
