The specification for this contract was to extensively renovate and modernise a listed property in Oxfordshire. After recently purchasing the property and its extensive grounds, the client wished to completely update and refresh the building for his family.
We established a successful working relationship with the London based architect following the brief to carefully manage and balance customer needs to the building programme and budget available.
A complete replacement of the services within the building, including plumbing, heating and electrics allowed the addition of underfloor heating and a complex lighting system. A new two storey glazed oak frame was installed to the rear of the building, creating a completely unique and bespoke feature to the property. Other specialist features included in the works included a Turkish style steam room, marble baths to the en-suites and full glass box overlooking the stream to the mill wheel.
